Chillicothe and Ross County Public Library Migrating to a New Computer System
Beginning in late May, the library will migrate to a new library software system, along with the other member libraries of the SEO Consortium.
The Consortium provides access to over 6.9 million items owned by 80 library systems in 42 counties across Ohio.
The new software will offer enhanced features for you, and we think you will appreciate the “finished product”.

Howard S. Young (Frankfort) Branch Renovation
December 12 for packing and moving. The renovation work on the branch, funded by a combination of a USDA loan and money bequeathed to the library by Howard S.Young, is expected to begin early in January. Mr. Young, the former high school principal of Adena Schools, designated his residence to become the branch library. Still very residential in nature twenty-five years later, the house will be transformed into a more user-friendly public building, while preserving the exterior look.
