For all our patrons who have been patiently waiting for 2011 tax forms, they are now available at your library. The Main and Northside locations have all forms except for school district tax books and forms. (Those are due to arrive in early February.) Some forms that were not made available to the library can be printed from the I.R.S. website. (Go to irs.gov and search for your form), or we can print the forms for you at your library for ten cents per page.
Howard S. Young (Frankfort) Branch Renovation
We are able to confirm that The Howard S. Young (Frankfort) Branch will close to the public beginning Monday,
December 12 for packing and moving. The renovation work on the branch, funded by a combination of a USDA loan and money bequeathed to the library by Howard S.Young, is expected to begin early in January. Mr. Young, the former high school principal of Adena Schools, designated his residence to become the branch library. Still very residential in nature twenty-five years later, the house will be transformed into a more user-friendly public building, while preserving the exterior look.
